Ylang-ylang is the "flower of flowers" of essential oils. Essential oil is extracted from Ylang-Ylang, or Cananga odorata, that features warm, floral, exotic and feminine notes. Its aphrodisiac properties have been known for many years.
Uses: Choose your desired Alqvimia essential oil and use it as an aromatherapy blend with your carrier oil or simply use a couple of drops in the diffuser for a wholesome home scent creating a tranquil spa environment.

Cosmetic level: Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil is anti-seborrheic, sebaceous regulator and balancing in the treatment of oily and dry skin, vitalizing decongestant and detoxifying tonic. It is a great facial cleanser and is accepted by all kinds of dermal natures.
Therapeutic level: It is a hypotensive, sedative, libido stimulating essential oil.
Emotional level: Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil is aphrodisiac, antidepressant, promotes femininity and self-confidence; combats sexual frustration and restlessness.

USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil,... at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Carrier Oil)
Facial Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Wheatgerm Oil,... at a maximum proportion of 1% (2 drops of Essential Oil for every 10ml of Carrier Oil).
Bath: Dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be dissolve in the bath.
Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil on a hot water pot with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale by covering the head and the pot with a towel, this will help steam for longer.
Facial Mask: It is recommended to apply 2 to 4 total drops of Essential Oil in the preparation of the mask, always taking into account the result to be obtained
and/or if it must be mixed with other Essential Oils.
