Petitgrain Essential Oil, or Citrus aurantium amara leaf/twig, is obtained by steam distilling bitter orange leaves. It has properties that help detoxify and cleanse the skin. It also has properties which help reduce stress and connect us with our inner child.
Uses: Choose your desired Alqvimia essential oil and use it as an aromatherapy blend with your carrier oil or simply use a couple of drops in the diffuser for a wholesome home scent creating a tranquil spa environment.

Cosmetic level: Petitgrain Essential Oil has deodorant properties, it is a tonic and detoxifier that exerts a “cleaning” effect on impurities such as blackheads.. In addition, it also exerts a regenerative effect.
Therapeutic level: it is an essential oil with antispasmodic and sedative, anti-inflammatory effect; its action is especially linked to children.
Emotional level: Petitgrain Essential Oil is an anxiolytic that connects with childhood; what it does is stimulate the vision of the world from enthusiasm, innocence and discovery, for this reason it is closely linked to children.

USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of the Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil,... at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Carrier Oil)
Facial Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Wheatgerm Oil,... at a maximum proportion of 1% (2 drops of Essential Oil for every 10ml of Carrier Oil).
Bath: Dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be dissolve in the bath.
Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil on a hot water pot with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale by covering the head and the pot with a towel, this will help steam for longer.
Facial Mask: It is recommended to apply 2 to 4 total drops of Essential Oil in the preparation of the mask, always taking into account the result to be obtained
and/or if it must be mixed with other Essential Oils.
