Cosmetic level: Peppermint Essential Oil is astringent, decongestant, refreshing and tonic. Especially used in treatments of circulation problems and heaviness of the legs helping to treat retention or derived cellulite.
Therapeutic level: it is an essential oil with an analgesic, antispasmodic, sweating effect. Carminative, emmenagogue, expectorant, feverish and stimulant. It is especially indicated for circulation problems and derivatives such as headaches, migraines, varicose veins, spider veins,...
Emotional level: Peppermint Essential Oil refreshes and clarifies, favours concentration and reduces mental fatigue. It is an essential oil highly recommended for periods of projects and studies.

USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of the Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil... at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Carrier Oil)
Bath: Dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be dissolve in the bath.
Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil on a hot water pot with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale by covering the head and the pot with a towel, this will help steam for longer.
* The use of this essential oil in facial treatments is not recommended.
