Cosmetic level: Nutmeg Essential Oil is a tonic, skin protector and revitalizing that provides heat in the area of application (possible redness), for this reason its use is not recommended for facial treatments.
Therapeutic level: It is analgesic, anti-rheumatic, antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, emmenagogue, labour and stimulating essential oil. Along with Clove Essential Oil, it is highly effective as an anaesthetic, it is a regulator of the general temperature providing heat.
Emotional level: Nutmeg Essential Oil is an invigorating and stimulating of the mind, being able to exert a psychotropic effect if too high doses are used. It is an essential oil that encourages creativity and helps prevent dizziness and vertigo of unconscious origin.

USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of the Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil.. at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Carrier Oil)
*The use of this essential oil is not recommended for facial treatments, baths or steam inhalation.
