Cosmetic level: Grapefruit Essential Oil is a tonic, reducing, detoxifying, anti-cellulite and also lipo-reducing. It is also an astringent essential oil that makes it ideal for treating acne and oily and congested skin.
Therapeutic level: it is an essential oil with purifying, diuretic, disinfecting and stimulating action.
Emotional level: Grapefruit Essential Oil helps to purify and overcome the energy of losses. It also helps adaptation with light, or what is similar, jet lag. It is one of the essential oils that helps travellers and inspires to connect with other continents and areas of the world, enhancing the desire for discovery and adventure.

USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of the Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil,... at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Carrier Oil)
Facial Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Wheatgerm Oil,... at a maximum proportion of 1% (2 drops of Essential Oil for every 10ml of Carrier Oil).
Bath: Dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be dissolve in the bath.
Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil on a hot water pot with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale by covering the head and the pot with a towel, this will help steam for longer.
Facial Mask: It is recommended to apply 2 to 4 total drops of Essential Oil in the preparation of the mask, always taking into account the result to be obtained
and/or if it must be mixed with other Essential Oils.
* It is recommended to minimize its use in facial treatments and, in case of use, do it in
synergy with other essential oils.
