Eucalyptus Essential Oil, or Eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, extracted by steam distillation of the leaves and branches, has anti-inflammatory properties. The French naturalist De Labillardiere called it "the fever tree" and used it to treat fevers caused by malaria.
Uses: Choose your desired Alqvimia essential oil and use it as an aromatherapy blend with your carrier oil or simply use a couple of drops in the diffuser for a wholesome home scent creating a tranquil spa environment.

Cosmetic level: Eucalyptus Essential Oil has antioxidant activity since it protects from oxidative stress, it also has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. It also has the property of protecting the skin and hair and has an anti-dandruff effect.
Therapeutic level: it is a good expectorant and refresher of the upper respiratory tract, useful in cases of nasal congestion, cough, rhinopharyngitis,... it helps to calm joint inflammation or the pain of inflammation due to contusion.
Emotional level: the scent of eucalyptus acts on the mental plane, promoting intellectual lucidity as well as concentration. It also helps communication, openness and decision making. It is an interesting oil in cases of instability or lack of sense of home or in cases of feeling the loss of origin. It helps to root and connect with the place to which one belongs.

USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of the Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil,... at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Vegetable Oil)
Bath: Dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be dissolve in the bath.
Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil on a hot water pot with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale by covering the head and the pot with a towel, this will help steam for longer.
* The use of this essential oil in facial treatments is not recommended.
