This Elemí Essential Oil has been obtained by steam distillation of the resin exuded by the Canarium luzonicum tree, native to the Philippines. Its aroma is reminiscent of sacred odors although with fresher and lemony notes. This essential oil is a great ally for the skin and can be used on oily and/or acne-prone skin thanks to its healing and antiseptic properties.
Uses: Choose your desired Alqvimia essential oil and use it as an aromatherapy blend with your carrier oil or simply use a couple of drops in the diffuser for a wholesome home scent creating a tranquil spa environment.

Cosmetic level: Elemi Essential Oil is a great ally for the skin since it can be used to treat combination/oily and/or acne prone skin thanks to its healing and
antiseptic properties. It is very delicate with skin irritations and inflammations caused by some kind of imbalance. As it comes from a resin, it also has the
property of improving skin tightening and nuance pores.
Therapeutic level: It is an essential oil with anti inflammatory effect at the skin level, it also has toning and healing properties for the skin. In addition, digestive properties are attributed to it in other uses.
Emotional level: It is an essential oil suitable for people with difficulty concentrating, helping to find harmony and inner peace. In cases of excessive intellectuality in which happiness seems too linked to the mental, it helps to combat excessive empiricism, favouring openness of mind.

USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of the Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil,... at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Carrier Oil)
Facial Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Wheatgerm Oil,... at a maximum proportion of 1% (2 drops of Essential Oil for every 10ml of Carrier Oil).
Bath: Dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be dissolve in the bath.
Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil on a hot water pot with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale by covering the head and the pot with a towel, this will help steam for longer.
Facial Mask: It is recommended to apply 2 to 4 total drops of Essential Oil in the preparation of the mask, always taking into account the result to be obtained
and/or if it must be mixed with other Essential Oils.
