Cypress Essential Oil, or Cupressus sempervirens Leaf/Nut/Stem oil comes from the steam distillation of the needles, seed cones and branches of the tree of serenity, calm and peace, to transport us to a place of relaxation. It increases lost energy.
Uses: Choose your desired Alqvimia essential oil and use it as an aromatherapy blend with your carrier oil or simply use a couple of drops in the diffuser for a wholesome home scent creating a tranquil spa environment.

Cosmetic level: Cypress Essential Oil is an astringent tonic widely used in men’s cosmetics, it also has a deodorant action. It is a skin detoxifier and also has an interesting anti-cellulite and draining effect.
Therapeutic level: It is a diuretic essential oil and liquid eliminator, also mucolytic. It contributes to detoxification and also promotes sweating and vasoconstriction.
Emotional level: The aroma of the cypress provides will power and optimism, helps to combat physical vices. It is an essential oil that brings light and meaning to new challenges; helps accept errors by providing an attitude to restart processes.

USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil... at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Carrier Oil)
Facial Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Wheatgerm Oil,... at a maximum proportion of 1% (2 drops of Essential Oil for every 10ml of Carrier Oil).
Bath: Dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be dissolve in the bath.
Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil on a hot water pot with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale by covering the head and the pot with a towel, this will help steam for longer.
Facial Mask: It is recommended to apply 2 to 4 total drops of Essential Oil in the preparation of the mask, always taking into account the result to be obtained
and/or if it must be mixed with other Essential Oils.
