Cosmetic level: the Essential Oil of Salvia Sclarea is specially indicated for the chest area, elderly female treatments or with dermal results due to hormonal imbalances (acne, swelling, collagen inhibition,...). It has a subtle astringent and detoxifying effect.
Therapeutic level: It is an antispasmodic, emmenagogue, hypotensive, sedative, uterine and estrogenic essential oil in general.
Emotional level: Salvia Sclarea Essential Oil provides the energy of learning in general. It helps to retain what has been learned as well as to apply it in life. Restore and connect with innate wisdom and basic instincts. Highly recommended for people who make the same mistakes constantly or who need to develop a greater learning capacity. USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of the Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil,,… at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Carrier Oil)
Facial Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Wheatgerm Oil,... at a maximum proportion of 1% (2 drops of Essential Oil for every 10ml of Carrier Oil).
Bath: Dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be dissolve in the bath.
Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil on a hot water pot with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale by covering the head and the pot with a towel, this will help steam for longer.
Facial Mask: It is recommended to apply 2 to 4 total drops of Essential Oil in the preparation of the mask, always taking into account the result to be obtained and/or if it must be mixed with other Essential Oils.
