Cinnamon Essential Oil or Cinnamomum zeylanicum is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of the cinnamon stalk.
It has various cosmetic properties: it is antimicrobial, stimulates microcirculation and astringent. It also provides positivity, mental focus and calm. Helps in cases of nervous exhaustion and stress.
Uses: Choose your desired Alqvimia essential oil and use it as an aromatherapy blend with your carrier oil or simply use a couple of drops in the diffuser for a wholesome home scent creating a tranquil spa environment.

Cosmetic level: It can be used on the skin (always diluted and never for facial treatment) and in the hair in order to hydrate, strengthen, eliminate bacteria, regenerate, provide shine, tonicity, elasticity, as well as combat irritations and dandruff.
Therapeutic level: Powerful anti-infectious, broad spectrum antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiparasitic. Great carminative. It produces a warm effect and helps the body preserve and balance its temperature.
Emotional level: It has warm notes that provide strength and vigor to the weakened and apathetic people, making it easier to get out of isolation and immobility. Highly recommended when there is a lack of human affectivity. It gives us the desire to live and to do. USES:
Diffuser: The use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Diffuser is recommended, since heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use a maximum of 10 drops of the Essential Oil in the diffuser.
Body Massage: Mix in a carrier vegetable oil such as Almond oil, Rosehip oil,... at a maximum proportion of 3% (6 drops of Essential Oil per 10ml of Carrier Oil)
Bath: Dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Essential Oil in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be dissolve in the bath.
Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Essential Oil on a hot water pot with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale by covering the head and the pot with a towel, this will help steam for longer.
* The use of this essential oil in facial treatments is not recommended.
